Harry Potter Wedding

You heard me right. Cassidy & Princess had a Harry Potter themed wedding and it was pretty cool.

 

Her ring is even snitch shaped!

It rained on us off & on all day so I had to get a little creative with some of the locations, like the first look in a parking garage. It turned out good though, and everyone was laid back and easy going about it.

 

 

Wedding guests got to pick out a wand of their own.

 

 

I had a lot of fun playing with these magic shots.

 

 

They wanted to do this dueling shot, which is fun to have one side of the wedding party against the other. I have an edit without the heart but I wanted to do this too because my thought process was even when a couple is mad at each other there's still love there and here it can't help but manifest itself in the magic.

 

 

For this one I thought about how the wedding party is your moral support. In the Harry Potter universe there's possible real danger and dark times. A wedding party in that place would be there to protect the bride & groom as best they can from all the bad vibes.

 

 

Of course the reception continued the theme, from a candy bar catered by Honeydukes to a beer quidditch game set up in the back.
